Meg — Witch, Chaos Mage & Mythologist

The Origin Story

How It All Began

My path into magic didn't begin with a dramatic initiation or a family lineage of witches. It began with questions — the kind that keep you up at night, the kind that mainstream religion and conventional philosophy couldn't quite answer. I was drawn to the edges, to the liminal spaces where myth and metaphysics blur.

I started with the basics: candle magic, moon cycles, herbalism. Then I fell headfirst into chaos magic, and everything changed. The idea that belief itself is a tool — that you can consciously choose your paradigm and wield it — was revolutionary to me. It unlocked a way of thinking about reality that I've never been able to put down.

Years of study, practice, and a lot of beautiful mistakes later, I started Meg's Magical Mansion as a place to share what I'd learned. Not as a guru or an authority, but as a fellow traveler who happens to have walked a bit further down the road.

Areas of Study

What I Explore

Witchcraft

From folk magic and hedge witchery to ceremonial practice — the practical art of working with energy, intention, and the natural world.

Chaos Magic

The paradigm-shifting philosophy that belief is a tool. Sigil work, paradigm piracy, gnosis, and the art of making your own magical system.

Metaphysics

The deeper questions: consciousness, reality, the nature of the self. Where ancient philosophy meets modern esoteric thought.

Mythology

The gods, heroes, and monsters of world mythology — not as fairy tales, but as living symbolic systems that still speak to us today.
